WanderLens

WanderLens AI transforms real places into immersive story experiences that creators can build, share, and monetize. It uses a text-to-image-to-world workflow to turn oral histories, folklore, and hidden memories into explorable spatial environments.

The project features a visual editor for non-technical creators to sequence narrative layers and reconstruct historical spaces using AI-generated world models and spatial portals.

How it Works

WanderLens utilizes a combination of advanced generative AI tools and spatial computing technologies to reconstruct historical spaces and narratives:

  1. World Generation: We use WorldLab and SuperSplats to generate initial spatial environments.
  2. Asset Creation: MeshyAI is used to rapidly prototype and generate 3D assets that fit the historical context.
  3. Narrative Sequencing: Claude and ChatGPT are employed to construct immersive narratives and sequences that guide the user through the experience.
  4. Spatial Assembly: Three.js and Blender are used to stitch these elements together into an interactive web-based 3D environment.
